Data Holdings
BORN collects personal health information (PHI) for the purpose of facilitating or improving the provision of health care or as otherwise permitted under PHIPA and its Regulation. BORN Holdings consist of the following:
BORN Information System (BIS)
The unique data collections within the BIS are provided by these various health information custodians and other organizations for the provision of specific obstetric, neonatal, and pediatric services, including:
