Dr. Emma Conway
Dr. Emma Conway, PhD, Credentialed Evaluator (c) is a health services researcher and Knowledge Translation Specialist with BORN Ontario whose work focuses on bridging research, policy, and practice to advance patient-centred, equitable, and evidence-informed healthcare. Her research examines patient, family, and caregiver engagement in healthcare, with expertise in dementia care, co-design, implementation science, and inclusive research methods.
She completed her PhD in Public Health Sciences at the University of Waterloo, where she explored innovative approaches to supporting the meaningful participation of people living with dementia in research. Her broader experience spans program evaluation, knowledge mobilization, primary care digital health innovation, and digital health transformation, including the development and implementation of BORNConnect, Ontario’s provincial interoperable perinatal health record.
Dr. Conway also serves on the Board of Directors for the North Wellington Health Care Alliance and Groves Memorial Hospital and is committed to ensuring that healthcare innovation strengthens compassionate, inclusive, and high-quality care for patients, families, and communities.
