BORN Webinar: AI at BORN Ontario: From Foundational Methods to the Frontiers of Perinatal Health

This webinar highlights the health AI research happening at BORN Ontario, from foundational methods to real-world applications in perinatal and child health. The first half introduces four foundational projects that support BORN’s AI efforts by addressing key challenges in health AI: ExaTune: large-scale hyperparameter tuning (i.e., optimizing the model ‘controls’ to improve how the model learns); DeepRP: technology to enable deep learning for the prediction of rare events; XAI: explainable AI tools to improve model transparency. The second half showcases the clinical and future applications of these projects at BORN for perinatal and child health.
