Dr. Christine Armour is a Medical Director (Genetics) for Prenatal Screening Ontario and Clinical Geneticist at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario. She is also a Clinical Investigator at the CHEO Research Institute and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Ottawa. She completed the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons training program in Medical Genetics at the University of Ottawa in 2008, after completing medical school at Queen’s University in 2001.

Dr Armour’s clinical expertise is focused on the application of innovative and state-of-the-art technologies in prenatal diagnosis and reproductive care, and she has helped guide national standards on these technologies. Her main research interests are prenatal screening and diagnosis as well as the identification and characterization of rare genetic conditions.
