Aggregated Data Request Process

BORN Ontario develops tabular or aggregate information based on registry data on request to assist policy development, system improvement or research in accordance with its mandate.

This kind of information includes total numbers, averages or rates of patients, services or outcomes, but does not identify individuals. For privacy reasons, BORN may need to suppress, agglomerate or otherwise mask small cell sizes in these reports.

 In many cases BORN may already have the information available or can develop it in a fairly short time.
