Ministry of Health and Long Term Care

To this end, Assistant Deputy Minister John McKinley distributed a letter on June 12, 2009 to senior management of hospitals and midwifery groups across the province. The purpose was to address the need for timely complete data entry to ensure BORN can meet its mandate of being a comprehensive source for authoritative, accurate and timely maternal-infant information. Since then, 100% of birthing hospitals in the province have committed to contributing information to BORN.
